Chadormalu iron ore mine
The Chadormaloo mine is located in Yazd province, on the southern edge of the Saghand Desert, about 180 kilometers northeast of Yazd city. This mine is one of the most important iron ore reserves in the country and one of the main sources of supply for the Iranian steel production chain.
Since 2016, Apadana Kavash Iranian Company has been involved in the mining operations of this mine, with the Chadormaloo Mining and Industrial Company as its employer. The company’s cumulative performance during this period has reached about 150 million tons, and Chadormaloo is considered one of the largest projects implemented in the company’s history in terms of volume of operations.
The continuity of activity over a ten-year period indicates the company’s ability to equip, organize, and sustainably manage large-scale mining operations. The climatic conditions of the region, the distance from urban centers, the scope of operations, and the necessity of continuous production have made regular management of machinery, workshop support, and maintenance of mining infrastructure of particular importance in this project.
The long-term presence in Chadormaloo has played an effective role in developing technical knowledge, forming organizational experience, and improving the company's managerial capabilities, and is considered one of its most important professional records in cooperation with strategic groups in the country's mining and steel industry.
